Never Too Small

Happy Monday! This week, we dive into the world of Colin and Joel who are bringing together videography with simple aesthetics in a mission dedicated toward awareness of the pros of small footprint living spaces.

When Colin Chee, videographer and multimedia artist, wanted to renovate his newly purchased small apartment to fit his living needs, he noticed how lacking the internet was of inspiration for small living spaces. What began as a desperate search for inspiration on YouTube turned into a creative business spotlighting small living and architects.

Colin began realizing his creative project. Joel Beath, a seasoned, very hands-on digital and media executive and friend, joined early on and just recently decided to devote his time exclusively to Never Too Small.

Today, Never Too Small is THE go-to for small space living inspiration. Each episode is carefully crafted with simplicity and design in mind, and highlights small urban living. Beginning in his home country Australia, architects and their small spaces from all over the globe have been featured, each unique in their approach and style.

Recently, they have taken their video venture into print, publishing their first book. We speak about taking a digital brand into publishing, the writing process on top of a full-time job and what’s next for Never Too Small.
